Boba Bay® opened on August 5th, 2022. We are a locally-owned premium specialty boba tea cafe specializing in top quality boba teas made with premium grade loose leaf teas, real organic fruit, fresh boba, and other delicious handcrafted specialities. We are located in the heart of Capitola Village, Santa Cruz Bay Area at 110 Capitola Ave Ste 3, Capitola, California 95010 at the intersection of Capitola Ave. and Monterey Ave. Our beachside cafe features over 30 varieties of traditional and fresh milk teas, iced fruit teas made with real organic fruit, and delectable dessert milk teas, as well as iced Vietnamese coffee, natural sugar cane juice, organic fruit smoothies and smoothie/acai bowls. We serve walk-ins, take-out, or delivery orders.

FOUNDER'S STORY
Cheryl, an Asian-American entrepreneur and boba enthusiast, founded Boba Bay out of her passion for business and food service. She was first introduced to this popular drink in the 90s and became a forever fan. She attended the San Francisco California Culinary Academy and a Taiwanese training course to learn from its origins. She’s tasted many different variations of bubble tea from around the world and came to realize that boba tea is not just an Asian drink, it’s a universal drink. After over a year of planning and development, Boba Bay opened its first shop on August 5th, 2022 in the Capitola Village in Santa Cruz County, California.
