FOUNDER'S STORY
Cheryl is an Asian-American entrepreneur and boba enthusiast, who founded Boba Bay out of her passion for business and food service. She discovered boba tea in the early ’90s and has been a fan ever since. She studied at the San Francisco California Culinary Academy and also trained in traditional Taiwanese tea-making. After years of planning, she opened the first Boba Bay in August 2022, in the Capitola Village, located in Santa Cruz County, California.
